One local workspace.
A deliberate path to access.

    Organize on your Mac

    Connect a provider and associate credentials with a project and its environments.

  2. 02

    Request an operation

    A local tool uses stdio MCP to ask the broker for a supported, typed provider action.

  3. 03

    Approve the scope

    Review the action on your Mac. The broker checks policy and the approval the action requires.

  4. 04

    Keep a receipt

    The broker performs the supported operation and returns a result without the credential value.

Credentials are used by the broker for provider requests. A separate, explicitly approved runtime-delivery mode can put a secret into a local process; that mode exposes the value to the receiving process.

Try Vaultage’s native macOS app and help shape what comes next. Beta features will evolve; the limits below describe what to expect.

Included in the beta

  • Vault, projects and environments

    Native workspaces for organizing credentials and their project context.

  • Local MCP credential broker

    Typed operations, policy checks and results that omit credential values.

  • Approval and activity interfaces

    Scope and duration controls, with a history of allowed and denied actions.

Provider support varies by operation. Development tests do not establish that every provider works with a live account.

    This beta requires an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later. An Intel Mac build is not included.

    Account, billing and provider flows need broader live validation. Support varies by provider and operation.

    Remote approvals, multi-device sync and cloud app-builder access remain planned for users.

Open beta is an early release. It does not establish that every provider workflow has been verified with a live account.
